Help with Khass — shared grocery lists.
Email contact@willowcy.com and we will get back to you. Telling us your phone model and iOS version helps.
Sharing a list
Open the list and scroll to the bottom. You will find a QR code and a six-character code below it. The other person opens the Join tab and either taps Scan QR code to point their camera at it, or types the six characters.
The code is not working
- Codes are six characters and are not case sensitive.
- They never contain the digits 0 or 1, or the letters O or I, because those are easy to confuse. If you read one of those, try the other character.
- A code stops working once its list has been deleted.
The camera will not open
Khass asks for camera access the first time you tap Scan QR code. If you declined, iOS will not ask again: go to Settings → Khass → Camera and turn it on. You can always type the six-character code instead — scanning is only a shortcut.
Someone's changes are not showing
Lists update between members automatically while you have a connection. If a list looks out of date, pull down to refresh it. Changes you make without a signal are kept on your device and sent when you are back online.
Leaving or deleting a list
Open the list and scroll to the bottom. If you created the list you will see Delete list, which removes it for everyone. If you joined someone else's list you will see Leave list, which removes only you — you can rejoin later with the share code.
Do I need an account?
No. Khass works the moment you open it, with no sign-up, email, or password. Adding your name is optional and only so the people you share with know who joined.
Deleting your data
Deleting a list removes it and its items for everyone. To have everything associated with your device removed, email us and we will take care of it. See the privacy policy for what is stored.
